The Phin filter is Vietnam's answer to pour-over coffee — and it's been perfecting the craft for generations. Simple, portable, and entirely hands-free once set up, the Phin produces an intensely concentrated brew that forms the base of Vietnam's legendary iced coffee (cà phê sữa đá).
The Thang Long Phin is handmade in Vietnam from heavy-gauge stainless steel, with a gravity insert (easier than a screw-down type) that delivers the ideal extraction speed. Dishwasher safe, lifetime warranty.
How to brew: Add 2–3 tbsp coarse-ground coffee. Place gravity insert. Pour 1oz hot water to bloom for 30 seconds. Fill to top. Wait 4–5 minutes. Enjoy over ice with sweetened condensed milk for the authentic Vietnamese experience.
