Welcome to The Cup of the World. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Cup of the World. We operate this website and provide its content, features, product recommendations, and direct-purchase services. Our website is powered by Shopify.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website and services. By visiting or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.
SECTION 1 — OUR BUSINESS MODEL
The Cup of the World operates using two different purchasing methods:

Most products featured on our website are offered by Amazon or another independent third-party retailer. Selecting one of these products sends you to that retailer’s website to complete the purchase.

Five Cup of the World tea products are available for purchase directly through our Shopify store. These products are fulfilled and shipped by our third-party tea fulfillment partner.
The product page and purchasing button should indicate where a purchase will be completed. Please review that information before purchasing.
SECTION 2 — AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
The Cup of the World participates in affiliate marketing programs. We may earn a commission when you follow certain links from our website and complete a qualifying purchase with Amazon or another third-party retailer. This does not necessarily increase the price you pay.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Our receipt of an affiliate commission does not make The Cup of the World the seller, payment processor, shipper, manufacturer, or warrantor of a product purchased from Amazon or another third-party retailer.
SECTION 3 — AMAZON AND OTHER THIRD-PARTY PURCHASES
Purchases completed on Amazon or another third-party retailer’s website are transactions between you and that retailer or seller. The retailer or seller controls the product listing, availability, price, taxes, payment processing, shipping, delivery, cancellations, returns, refunds, warranties, and customer service for that transaction.
The Cup of the World does not receive or fulfill those orders and cannot cancel them, accept their returns, issue their refunds, or guarantee their products or delivery. Questions or concerns about a third-party purchase must be directed to the retailer where the purchase was completed.
Your use of a third-party website is subject to that website’s own terms, policies, and privacy practices.
SECTION 4 — DIRECT TEA ORDERS
This section applies only to the five tea products purchased directly through The Cup of the World’s Shopify checkout.
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, decline, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including because of product availability, payment problems, suspected fraud, incorrect information, or fulfillment limitations.
An order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and the order is confirmed. Please review your order and contact information carefully before submitting it.
Direct tea orders are intended for personal or household use and not for unauthorized commercial resale.
SECTION 5 — PRICES, PAYMENTS, AND TAXES
Prices for direct tea products are shown on our website and may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Applicable shipping charges and taxes will be displayed during checkout when required. You agree to provide accurate and complete billing, payment, shipping, and contact information.
Prices displayed for Amazon or other third-party products are controlled by the applicable retailer and may change at any time. The final price and terms shown on the retailer’s website control that purchase.
SECTION 6 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Direct tea purchases are fulfilled and shipped by our third-party tea fulfillment partner. Available shipping methods, charges, and estimated delivery information will be displayed during checkout when applicable.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, destination restrictions, incorrect addresses, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
Shipping and delivery for Amazon or other third-party purchases are controlled entirely by the applicable retailer or seller.

SECTION 7 — RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS
Returns, refunds, cancellations, exchanges, damaged-item claims, and other concerns involving Amazon or another third-party purchase are handled exclusively by the retailer or seller where the purchase was completed.
Because our directly sold teas are consumable food products, we do not accept returns based on taste preference, change of mind, or selection of the wrong product.
If a direct tea order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at hello@thecupoftheworld.com within seven days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs of the product and packaging. We will review the information and, when appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.
Direct orders may enter fulfillment soon after they are placed. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after fulfillment has begun.

SECTION 8 — PRODUCT INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY
We try to present accurate and useful information, but product descriptions, photographs, prices, availability, packaging, ingredients, and specifications may change.
Information concerning products sold by Amazon or another third-party retailer may come from that retailer, seller, manufacturer, or other third-party sources. Before purchasing or using a product, verify important information on the retailer’s website and review the manufacturer’s labeling and instructions.
Colors and appearance may vary depending on your device and display settings. We may correct errors or update website content without prior notice.
