La Media — Traditional Latin Coffee Sock Filter (Colador de Cafe) 3-Pack
This is how Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Cuba, and much of Latin America brewed coffee for generations — before paper filters, before machines. La media (the coffee sock) is a reusable flannel cloth filter with a wooden handle that produces a cup of extraordinary smoothness, letting the natural oils of the bean pass through while filtering out the grounds.
No paper. No plastic. No waste. Just cloth, coffee, and hot water — exactly as it has been done for over 200 years. The longer you use it, the better it gets as the cloth cures with coffee oils. Simply rinse with warm water after each use. Do not use soap.
Includes: 3 reusable flannel cloth coffee filters with handles.
