The chorreador is Costa Rica's national coffee brewing tradition — a handcrafted wooden stand holding a cloth sock filter above your cup. The name comes from the Spanish chorrear — "to drip." Coffee grounds go in the sock, hot water goes in slowly, gravity does the rest.
Handmade from light cedar in Costa Rica. Folds flat for travel. The cloth filter (bolsita) gets better with every use as it cures with coffee oils — richer, smoother, more flavorful every cup.
Includes: 1 handmade wooden stand + 1 reusable bolsita cloth filter. Folds to 10.5 x 5.5 x 1.25 inches.
